Not sure about the euro's but the early US 928 all had the same wiring with 2 sets of pump connectors even if only equipped with one pump.

What type of connectors are on the wires? The connectors for the intank pump would be female blade connectors. If all of the connectors are the round eyelet type, it may be wired for 2 external pumps but the second set should be long enough to reach the right fenderwell. Do you see male blade connections on the tank where the fuel line exits?

Sounds like it is a midpoint connection for something like the reverse switch. At this point I would check the wire colors against the wiring schematics in the WSM.

Got the car running. Had bad gas, bad pump, poor ground at pump and a melted fuse behind the panel.
You all are amazing help and I appreciate it greatly!!! :) |
