Blower motor replacement in 86
Looking at a 1986 928S. Has a bad blower motor. guy says heat gets hot and a/c gets cold, just doesnt blow. What am i looking at as far as buying a used one and installing it? Big job? I hear different stories on this.

You'll consider it a big job, since you don't work on them much Matt, from our past interchanges over the 84.
Its expensive, too, for a new fan, like $500. Could be the relays, though. Don't believe the ac cold BS, BTW, its not really checkable without the fan blowing. You sold the 84 after not being able to work on it / now going back in for an 86? They are about 3 times more complicated in the engine compartment. I wish you the best, of course, just seems like you are cutting yourself.

Well I sold the 84 due to baby coming that and more than doubleing my money on it. The baby came and the BMW i bought was still to small so sold my Blazer and got a '05 mini van.
Now looking for another P car. At this point, these cars are free. I have or nearly doubled my $$ on all my 944's. My mechanic doesnt charge me so all i have to buy is parts. I need my speed.
