Need Help finding washer reservoir

I have a Right hand drive 1981 928S 4.7L and I am having difficulty finding the windshield washer reservoir. None of them are marked and do not want to be putting washer fluid in a place where it does not belong. If anyone could please help or possibly post a picture of where it is located that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well on my 86 USA it is located on the passenger side front fender behind the coolant fill. Near the firewall. Also a small one in front by radiator for special cleaner,

Your coolant fill has a pressure cap on it, the washer bottle just has a plastic cap.

look through these links,
you may find an owners manual for the RHD and fluid locations.

The washer fill pipe and the top of the tank that accepts fluid each have a carbon steel fitting as inserts.
This is a major design flaw with respect to the washer system.
Their remnants will probably need to be removed, tank cleaned and lines and sprayers backflushed, pump removed, disassembled and cleaned also.
(Unless this has already been repaired by somebody).
Out of 7 cars I've looked at, all 7 were affected, rust clogging everything, so you might have to do some work.

So, don't be disappointed if its not just "fill-and-go".

With some relatively minor work, the system can be restored!

The washer resevoir is located behind the drivers side fender, to access it remove the splash guard to the rear of the rhs front tyre, pretty easy to access from there on in. Let me know how you go, i have to do some maintenance on mine eg, a good flush and clean the pump.
