I know it has an exhaust leak in the forward pipe somewhere as I dropped the pumpkin muffler to the ground when I disconnected the rear hanger thinking there was another hanger near the resonator. It fell about 1 foot and pretty sure I put a crack somewhere where the downpipe couples to the pipes.

I just basically dislike the Pumpkin and the stock Tips too. Gonna get the whole exhaust nice and sealed when I get the Magnaflow installed.

I'll totally do a before/after Vid. No funds at the moment, so it's kinda on hold.

Yesterday I started the Rear Caliper R&R with a full cleaning and re-paint. I wasn't too happy with the Silver color on the Rotors but I needed to cover all that rust anyways. I really need new rotors anyways, but didn't have the budget. Anyways, I took a lot of pics to show the before and after, plus it helped me in the re-assembly of the calipers.

Here is the culprit of my hard shifting. Luckily it was the one just above the Cat. Removed a couple Heat Shields and replaced bad vacuum hose with a Silicone replacement.

Sounds better than my pumpkin exhaust..., I'll add it to my someday wishlist...

I changed the oil/filter on the BMW tonight, it's just as easy as the old benz using the marine oil extractor. Though I haven't figured out how to reset the oil indicator....

Installed my Kickdown Bypass Switch today. I used the E-Brake Cover and made a hole for the switch next to the Stereo Fader.

Also found some time to install some recycled brown carpet from my Euro and covered my Subwoofer Box. I also made the Box shorter as it was too tall.

I also went back to the Old Skool Rockford Fosgate Amps, the Infinity kept cutting out. Lost out big time on that Infinity Amp. I'll never sway away from good ol trusty Punch Amps. Anyways, now I have to find another location for my Cap.

Yeah, it would have been easier if I removed the O2 Sensor since that is what is keeping the Cat Shield from totally coming off. It would have made a lot more room to work the new hose on as it's still kinda high up there.

I put in a fresh Walmart Battery and they are great. $89 versus $158 at Autozone. Volt meter shows a nice charging voltage even with all the lights on. She fires right up.

Car sounds nice revving even with the stock Pumpkin. I also scored on a nice Pioneer CD Player.

Why did you put a Neverstart in there? Yes, 90 vs. 160 but if you are lucky, you will get that 3 years out of it. The duralast on my 67 chevelle is from 1994, never have a battery tender on it, only have to charge it after sitting for a year. Everstarts...eh all the ones i have had, have lasted no longer than 3 years.

also, im trying to determine is my 83 928 is an s or not, says the CID is 285 and i have a S steering wheel. But it doesnt say 928s under "PORSCHE" like yours does. My fuel pump is dead as well, the part number for it is 0 580 464 017. is that correct for an s? Thanks!

Your 83 is an S. The Decal on my Bumper is a Custom Decal. Riber and Gunar bought one and they are sporting one too.
