Porsche 928 s4 1989 hot air from center consule

Hoping someone can help. I acquired a Porsche 928 S4 (1989) about a year ago and have noticed an issue on longer drives. There is heat and hot air coming from the ashtray, shifter and center console (by power window buttons). It doesn't really smell..but is constant and you can feel the hot air flow (as opposed to just warming of area). This usually happens when driving 30 or more miles (even steady highway cruising). Is this the transmission? Exhaust? Seals? any help would be appreciated.

Motor mount collapse. Happens to all of them. Transmission is in back of car, so not a factor.
Where are you located?

Automatic trans? Have you checked flexplate/crankshaft endplay BTW?

I live in San Diego. The car is automatic...has 75K miles...and I have driven the last 9K of that. Aside from this issue... and a bit tight steering ...is that the way it is supposed to be? ) the car has been perfect. I have not checked flexplate/crankshaft...do I need a porsche specialist/shop to do this? So with the mounts..the heat could be the engine?

One more question while on the topic...the brakes work great...but, I have started to hear clicking/clank sounds in the rear (much more so when windows are down). I don't feel any grinding or squeaking...and brake pads were checked as good...this sound only happens when the brakes are first pressed....maybe a hardware rebuild for calipers? Thanks....
