Other than that ricer looking wing I LOVE that car! Real beauty!
Why are you selling it? How did you get to about 360rwhp w/o doing something really drastic to the car (though 968 valves and GT cams are pretty drastic some might say)?

Craig,
Thanks for the note, hell of a car you have there! Good luck with the sale! If someone is looking for a nice S4 I would say that would have to be a fool not to check out your car for sure!

The Dyno results I have from the previous owner are hand written. I would like to do my own testing but the closest dyno I know of is 200 miles away.
A lot of testing and tuning was done on the engine over more than a year. Louie Ott was consulted on the mods and exhaust design which is key to the resulting H.P. and I have hard copies of several emails. As a break down on the mods. I think the exhaust is worth 40 H.P. (Ott X Pipe, Random Tech. cats, 2.5" dual pipes, Dyno Flow mufflers). 10-15 H.P. for the GT cams, 20-30 H.P. for the .030" over porting and 968 intake valves, and 20-40 H.P. for the custom Autothorty chips and fuel pres. regulator. The fuel pressure seems critical in the tuning and 51-52 psi gave the best results. The cams were indexed +3 degrees for the best low end torque. The engine pulls like a freight train from 2500 RPM. Finally Porsche is known for Conservative H.P. figures. They quoted 320 for the 5 liter S4 engine... has anyone out there dyno tested their stock S4 engine? Seat of the pants, and your ears lets you know, that this is a very healthy beast.

Still looking for some S4 stock Dyno numbers. Recently had my stock '86 Carrera on a portable Dyno at a POC event, and it pulled 201 wheel H.P. with 170,000 miles. No catalyst and a gutted stock muffler. Porsche quoted 207 crankshaft for the 85'-86' 3.2 engine.

Just spent over $500.00 on minor service, oil change, Mobil 1 15-50, new hood struts, smog and registration. Passed smog with flying colors, only measured 2 hydrocarbons during the 2500 RPM test!
This car will give someone a lot of joy. Just drove it on the PCH in Malibu and it turned many heads, and it will run with some much more modern cars. Timeless lines, comfort and a sleeper engine and drive-train,all for $15,000. I have top 928 people in SoCal. that can vouch for the car and I will do a PPI for the buyer.

Addition to Wish List -
Hey Craig, You have a beautiful car and from your description, it sounds like it's well worth the money. Nice background for your photo too. When visiting out in Kali-forniya I always enjoy taking a little time out for a run up the highway 1 coast road.

It came with the car. Erebuni Corp SPOILERS, GROUND EFFECTS, WINGS, AERODYNAMICS, AUTO ACCESSORIES, SPOILER, GROUND EFFECT, GROUNDEFFECT, GROUNDEFFECTS, WING, AERODYNAMIC, AUTO ACCESSORY, BODY KITS, BODY KITS, BODY KIT, BODYKITS.
Most people like it... some think it has a ricer look. I like it better than the stock S4 flipper. The car has a very aggressive look from behind with the exhaust, the tail, and 285/30 rear meats. ![]()
