Only blows white smoke at start up during freezing weather. Coldness creates a gap somewhere, heated engine closes the gap. Warmer days, no issue.

But I've consumed a lot of coolant, though I did have a bad leak at the thermostat housing for a while. I was scared to fully tighten at first for fear of breaking the screws. Good and tight now.
