928 for sale
Saw this ad today and was interested. I talked to the owner and he has only had it for 6 months and has done nothing to the car. So I know for sure I would need to do WP/TB and it needs a paint job. I was gonna offer him something like $1500 but still think that is too much considering he doesnt have an interior. What do you guys think? Im going on saturday to look at the car. Also does the 1982 928 have the mouldings on the doors and fenders? this one does but my car did not although I did purchase them and put them on. Thanks all.
1982 Porsche 928 V-8 Porsche I do not know the seller and nor am I affiliated with this person. Last edited by Ender928; 03-17-2011 at 10:27 PM.. Reason: Clarification |

Not what I would suggest. People buy $500 928's intending to track them due to bad condition, make it harder to fix, and think its now worth more money. Skip.
BTW many like to remove the rub strips for the clean lines. |

Believe a good project car indeed...if she runs, what the hell. Attempt $1K then work from there. Would make a good track car if you had the time & funds

It does run according to him. I don't have any interest in making it a track car. I also dont mind driving it without an interior I would just add another seat. One thing that concerns me is that he doesnt know if the lights work so most likely they don't. I have the tool box hes looking for so I was thinking like 500 plus the tool box.
