clutch noise, oh no!?
I just joined forum so please bear with me. My '79 928 has a clutch related noise at idle. At first I thought it was a water pump bushing or alternator bearing starting to go out, then I noticed that it went away if I barely depressed the clutch pedal. Pedal has no freeplay, clutch and throwout has 9,000 miles on it. It shifts smoothly but I also noticed previously that I could feel pulsing in the pedal (on occasion) when it was depressed to floor. If anyone could share experience it would sure be appreciated. I sure would like to know what is going on in there. Thanks. Phil from N. Idaho.

im not positive phil what your noise is but i think you need to start by putting some free play into your pedal, check the manual for procedure ,its pretty simple
