78-86 928 sidemarker gasket replacment kits!!

Hi guys,

If you followed me through the last 10 years, I tinker with Porsche's for fun & every now & then stumble upon a subtle demand.

After painting my 944 Turbo S, I tried to replace all the exterior rubber only to find that Porsche (nor anyone else) sells the rubber gaskets that seal all four side marker lenses: you have to purchase the entire lense at +$38/each just to get a good gasket! 928's are the same way...no gaskets available! Poppycock.

So, After 6 months I've finally ready to release my own re-seal o-ring kit for the 928/928S sidemarkers: All four seals for $25 (most likely), easy installation, great sealing, perfectly sized. (S4,GT,GTS to come)

If you're interested, let me know via this forum please. PelicanParts sells my DIY ignition wire kits and of course I'd prefer that they sell my lense re-seal kits: in-stock availability to you, Pelican's incredible reputation, etc. If Pelican is not ready to carry this product yet, I will sell the kits through my site, eBay, here, just to get the word out, but let me know if you're interested by shouting here on this thread.

Thanks!! (notice there are no gaskets on my rear lense? Of course not, the car's too shiny.

Mark
