Hmm, since I'm way down south in San Diego, I have no idea of anyone in that part of SoCal (Los Angeles County). Sorry Brotha. Dr. Bob sometimes chimes in here and I think he's LA County. Maybe PM him?

Arcadia is near the 210/57 fwy as I recall, which is around 40 min during good traffic for me.

Dr Bob is close to Arcadia I think, best to reach him on rennlist, but Dr Bob is a busy guy.

Also not much slips past the SoCal crowd, so it may be a known car and already discussed (shredded to bits).

George, heres an early model. It's in your neck of the woods. I would look at it just for kicks. Post pics if you do.

Heat is an issue where you are from, so I bet it's Interior is shot unless it was under cover or garage.

I'd be tempted if local to look at it, figure out who has title and see if that can be sorted, No way is it worth $900 without a title, but if a title could be acquired without a lot of trouble then $300 to $500 might make it an interesting project.

It's a Las Vegas Craigslist Ad. Also says Hacienda and Jones (maybe cross streets). That's quite a ways from you Mike. Plus, I bet it's an Auto which I know you despise ;)

Be careful with just showing up to Craigslist Ads. Make sure you get contact with the Seller first and bring a Corn Fed Big Boneded friend with you. Preferably another pair of eyes that might know mechanics fairly well, a 928 friend is most helpful.

Just an FYI, an 18 yo kid was just killed here in San Diego responding to a Craigslist Ad, albeit he went late at night (first mistake), so just be smart when going into unknown situations.
