Sharks in the mountains

Has anyone here ever attended the weekend event in June? Sponsored by 928 Specialists. Looks to be a fun deal in N.C. About a 600 mile drive for me.

I was there 2 years ago...It is a fine get together. I will not be able to attend this year. There is always a big group from Michigan...maybe you could contact Andrew Olsen and caravan with them. That way the drive in and back is part of the fun.

Gee, thanks! I have never been to NC or the South, except for flying into Florida a few times. I might go down there. Looks like a beautiful ride through the Smokies.
I have dealt with 928 Specialists and they were always great.

I forgot to mention it's June 3,4 and 5. visit 928gt.com. Sounds like a real nice deal! I am just a customer of theirs not affiliated in any way. Not that I don't like Pelican either! Both good places to deal with.

How you doing? There's a pretty large group of us from the Detroit/Ann Arbor area that head down. I think this is year 7 or 8 for me. For the past 5 years or so, we've been going down on Thursday and meet up in Alcoa, TN and then run the Tail of the Dragon on Thursday night, then take the Cherohala Skyway and a bunch of super twisty roads on Friday on our way in to Banner Elk. Best drive EVER!

Shoot me a note if you want to hook up with us. best to use email. andrewmolson(at)yahoo(dot)com

Sounds like fun. I am 230 miles West of Detroit, so I would have to go another way. But if I go I will email and see. Thanks.
