coolant temp sensor
 
I think I have a faulty coolant temp sensor

Is this the sensor that is located at the top of the water pump

There are other sensors on the engine and want to make sure I get the coorect part

I believe you are talking about the Temperature Sensor II. It is located on the Water Bridge just above the thermostat.

There are some testing parameters included above. Test to be sure the sensor is bad before replacing.

EDIT - Sorry, I didn't check the MY - The info above is for the early 16valve engine. I don't have the WSM for the 32 Valve models. :o
