diall under right side of instrument cluster

Hello:

There are 2 dials under the instrument cluster on my "87" 928

The left dial adjusts the instruments cluster lighting

What does the right dial do

Also in the engine compartment there is a plastic reservior just under the windshiled on the drivers side with a red cap

Not sure what this is either

I can figure out the other plastic reserviors but not this one

Dumb question I know

Sorry

thanks

for the help

The plastic reservoir is for the intensive silicon remover additive to the window washer. From what I understand, not many people bother with it. I managed to track down the last bottle in my country for the OEM version, but I understand Audi do have a similar system and much cheaper fluid.

The dial is for the intermittant wiper timing, and should have a button next to it for activating the intensive windsheild washer.

Yup, Wiper Speed or Passenger Eject. Great diagram Stoolie!

Well, I did burgle it from somewhere... :p

Also - PN for the mystery fluid is 928-628-931-00 in the square shaped container as shown here [41]:

Funny, I was just about to post this question myself. Thanks for the info.
