Format of gripe description: the forum could be more helpful......
.......if people would describe their gripes in a certain format, and even more importantly, describe the steps they've taken in a certain format, too, instead of just running along making ambiguous statements that lack technicality and proper wording.
It becomes tiresome trying to sort through the madness people write when complaining about their current no-start gripe. Do it like this: Title: "No start. Stumbles while cranking, won't light off." Description: "No start. Stumbles while cranking, won't light off. Verified ignition with timing light on all plug wires. Consistent sparking. Inspected green wire, looks fine, not sure how to read with a meter. Tank is full. Can hear pump running. Jumped relay, pump whines. Removed cap on end of fuel rail, cranked, fuel sprayed all over garage wall. Have not verified all grounds. Please help." Include: MODEL and YEAR, US/Euro, old problem/new problem, last item worked on, new car to you, previous owner was a doctor, the important stuff.

Sounds like AFR, maybe a temp sensor?
I gotcha though, when people say, won't start, then we have to ask does it crank, does it catch or stumble at all, etc etc. and don't forget MODEL and YEAR, US/Euro, old problem/new problem, last item worked on, new car to you, previous owner was a doctor, the important stuff. |
