My theory is you leaked some oil. When you opened up your garage door in the 95 degree humid weather it consended on your nice cool cement floor and made the oil milky

Look in the oil separator and on the dipstick see if that's milky.

Mine seems to be doing the same thing. I can't seem to figure out where it's coming from. Guess I will have to jack it up and look. I smell oil after I run it sometimes, so it may be leaking on the exhaust manifold, darn hard to see in there.

oil seperator now that your talking about it i did check so my question then its empty?

i opened -on top eng the oil tank - the yellow cap lifted the top see strainer and around the threaded rod/bolt bottom of the strainer was a big plastic oring sitting there thats another question belongs in the cap? uhh maybe its a qt oils pour ring fell off bottle, ?
so if ur saying ck milky in there there must supposed to be oil in there to even get milky, no? mines empty mt nada no oil .

if oil - procedure ????

top lines good.
more line/hoses to chk?
take out strainer and a bolt and a gasket to replace there? or bolts are each side outside replace gasket? ??????????

I believe there is a large "O" ring in the yellow filler cap.

Mine is rubber for sure. I guess it is stock. Also on my gas filler I have a leather cover which keeps gas from dripping on the fender when filling.

This drove me nuts so I had to look it up. 78-84 was cork, after that it must be rubber.
The leather thing would be nice. Mine gas just dribbles down the fender

Ya, never saw the leather deal around the gas filler on any car before. On the oil fill, sometimes the O ring stays on the lip of the fill opening when you open it.

the leather protector is to protect the gas nozzle from damaging the paint and it comes on all of the 928'S,,,and the fuel tank filler is inside the quarter panel on a 928 not the fender,,, the 911 filler is inside the fender and they also come with the leather protector,, so harborman your car is not special

I made no indication it was special. Fender/quarter panel what ever! Don't own a 911, just my 928.
