Air Tubing

Hey guys i noticed when i took my intake manifold off that the tubing connected to the IAC and part of the throttle body had some sort of red sealant in addition to the clamps that are holding them on. i'm refering to the red sealant stuff.

does anyone know what this is or if its important that i replace it when i swap my new IAC in? thanks

Your PO was just trying to corrrect or prevent vacuum leaks. The red stuff is not necessary usually.
