Roof Rack for a 928?
Hey can anyone recommend a roof rack for a 928?
I've been checking around locally and see a bunch of different options. Just looking for something to stick a surfboard on...No sheets of plywood.  Thanks Dan

I have never seen one. I imagine it would do damage though.. The steel part has nothing to grip on and the molding piece is thin aluminum. It would be something to see it done well.

There is a porsche designed roof rack system which was specific to the 928 but I have never seen one installed. It has various attachments for a ski box, surfboard, luggage box, bike and canoe. If you open your rear hatch you will see two allen head bolts on each side of the body near the top. That is where the rear support attaches. I am not sure how the front connects.

sick idea.. I always thought it would look rad. I see tons of jettas with them, and i actually think they look good if the car is tastefully upgraded . same with subarus with racks.

I was almost wondering if one of the inflatable ones might be the way to go.. Similar to one of these.
