Radio Fuse?
Does anyone know which fuse feeds the radio ? I can't find it listed in my owners manual otherwise I wouldn't ask , though the information may not be helpful as one of the PO's had an aftermarket stereo installed which for some reason included removing the amp and both fader controls!

What year is your car? The stock radio on a 1984 model had a small in-line glass fuse located in the center console.

I do have an 84 model but the head unit has been changed to a pioneer deh-1700 thanks for the info I'll pull the deck and see if there's still one under there or if the "pro" installers screwed it up more than is already apparent!

Factory fader is worse, its just a pot using stereo output and most modern head units have 4 outputs, two front and two rear, with internal fader. No telling what the aftermarket installer used for power, they are known for probing wires and taking the first hot from ign wire they find. |

Hello.
Try the 8th. fuse starting from your left. This is for the s4 anyways. I am fortunate enough to have the original 3 card fuse/relay card/charts still adhered to the fuse panel cover. Try the '928 SPECIALISTS'-web site. You can down-load a fuse/relay chart from there.
