Anyone in Valley Forge area?

I was hoping I could get some help from someone in the area. I have an 84 928 with manual trans. Anyone willing to swap out their ECU so I could check and make sure my ECU is the problem as to why my car won't start? Thanks.

ECU fail is very rare on early cars. I wish I had some time to look over 84 wiring diagram, but not in the cards for a week or two.

84 no start is sometimes a failed temp 2 sensor.

Can also be bad relay (fuel pump, ACM and/or injection relay). Jumpering them in the proper way, carefully, can often prove it.

Dirty grounds are also a killer. The key grounds for the 84 are located on the passenger side cam cover. They can be overlooked, especially the rear-most ground point, because it is fully buried under the emissions valve -- which must be removed for access with dremel wire brush.

See 928 Specialists site for fuse / relay identification for 84 car.

Separately, be certain the 84 fuel hose segments are replaced.
If not done already, they are crispy and dangerous.
