Location of sunroof drain holes

I could hear my sunroof motor click as I engaged the switch so I used my fingers to help the black clutch turn and yes--it opened but very sluggish. After getting it opened I started to spray the tracks down with Wd40--what a difference after a bit of cleaning.

So where are the holes for the drains--I'm clueless on this one. Can they been seen with just the roof fully open? Anyone have a picture?

My headliner is warped at the front and rear ends that leaves me believe water has been getting in. The seal looks good and the roof fits level.

Can the headliner be fixed--remolded?

The drain holes are located at the front of the sunroof (above the a-pillar) and on top of the c- pillar (you will have to open the sunroof and the hatch respectively). I used weed wacker line to push the crap through, being careful not to tear the drain tube.

To clear the back holes I suggest opening the hatch. You will see the holes on the high corners inside the hatch opening.

Hatch opening?

So does that mean just opening the sunroof?

I do not see any holes when I just open the roof.

Do I have to pull liner if so please provide directions to take it down--mine is warped as I guess this is really common on a 928.

Still looking for drain holes.

YES open sunroof and they are in the corners in front looking down from outside of the car. May have to poke around through years of debris.

Rear should be seen when open the rear hatch at top.

Use lawn trim line to see if they are blocked. Do not use too much pressure with line as the drain tube could be knocked out since it is plastic I read.

I am having issues with blocked drain holes myself.

warpage, sometimes can help, depends condition. brace wood/protect leather, rearseats down and lodge length of wood from seatback to ceiling liner.

too curled, bent, broken, leather peeling, clips broken.. pull edge of leather away sheetmetal screw, glue/tuck leather down, watchout for any wiring if drilling.

drainholes sunroof openish/looking from outside to in, front/edge cornnering maybe the wind fairing, flipup thing, hindge is blocking you from seeing.

?dk if this is a legit drain one bottom doors cornnering, i had black swampish debree, coat hanger picked it out.
danglerb(search forum/drain holes threads)- has a posted pic of engine bay -under air cleaner/firewall, a flapper drain can get stuck if theres any hose... pressed up against it.

good goings for you.... get those sroof tracks a greasen, look close at the side guides that run the tracks white? black? plastics . brittle,cracked,broken..replace, and the gunk on metal wires they run along. grease . check every screw/retighten the metal/frame work whole assy for good alignment, operating.
