Oil gasket replacement & Motor mounts

Can i get a good write up or guide on oil pan gasket replacement, please. I can't seem to find one ( i saw some a while ago).

also i've read that the 87 s4 motor mounts specifically, have (or had) a fluid in them, so i'm looking at replaceing motor mounts while im doing the oil pan gasket (motor mounts haven't been replaced ever on my s4 which has over 163000 miles). so i've been considering getting the solid aluminium ones offered on 928 motorsports. Does anyone on here have any input as to whether these are any good? I'd kind of like to have this as a permanent fix

thanks guys.

You do not want solid aluminum motor mounts, for any reason IMO. Here is one extensive write up on changing MM's OK

If the current offerings of replacement MM's last 50,000 or 100,000 miles why worry about them after you replace them? Few of us will drive out cars long enough or far enough to worry about the set we put in today. I can not speak to the MM that Pelican sells. But, I have used 2 pair of those offered by Roger at ************ They work fine, are reasonably priced. I have not used any of the solid aluminum mounts that you reference, but I know some people who have, and none of them are happy with the result, unless they are hard and fast racers developing much more HP than stock...

I TOTALLY AGREE....I just don't get using solid mounts on a street car. ALL the benefits from going to the trouble of replacing shot mounts are gone.
