Jump Terminal 12v+ Source

What is the wire the red arrow is pointing to in the picture below? Is this the 12v+ source provided to the jump terminal, and does it come from the the 12v+ provided to the starter from the battery?

Also what do the wires the white arrow is pointing to do?

I pulled my motor sometime ago, in doing so I no longer have the wire where the red arrow is pointing as that is part of the engine wiring harness and it is with the motor. However, I want to tests some circuits ( specifically the 14 PIN ) without the motor in the car and I think I need to provide 12v+ from the battery to the jump terminal in order to test things.

For example, I would think my emergency flashers would work but they do not. My battery is connected and reads 12.8v.

Doh. :p. Spent sometime tracing the 12v+ wires connected to my battery. The starter wire is the only 12v+ battery wire that provides power to the car. The other wires are audio wires installed after factory to amplifiers.

I think I need to provide 12v+ to the jump terminal, the engine harness must do this by tapping into the starter 12v+ circuit. The is no other factory wire connected to my battery's 12v+ post except for the now disconnected starter wire.

The wire that the red arrow is pointing to goes to the alternator which then goes to the positive terminal on the starter. The three bundled wires provide power to the fuse/relay panel. So yes, if you are going to test circuits, you need 12 volts at that post, or at least into the three bundled wires.

So the power flow goes like this:

BATTERY -(large gauge cable)- STARTER -(medium gauge cable)- ALTERNATOR -(medium gauge cable)- JUMP POST -(three smaller gauge wires)- FUSE/RELAY PANEL
