thinking of a daily driver 928S

I am entertaining the thought of a 1981+ 928S with the automatic trasmission for a daily driver. Other than the water pump/belts issues and electric gremlins with these cars any other red flags I should look out for? I currently own a 911 but have always liked the 928's. Besides the roll bar in the 911 makes it tough for the kids to get in the back seat

I like it

I personally drive my 78 5 speed everyday about 25 miles. The more you drive it the better it runs. Going to be tough to take it off the road to paint it this fall.
HP could be a little better and an 81 make like 5 more HP. 81 S still has the small brakes. (i upgraded to 82 "S" brakes big difference) CIS fuel injection with Lambda close loop.
Just curious what condition and how much.
928 is better for LONG drives on the Highway. Less twithcy that 911. and a world apart from my 914.

I haven't found a car yet. It's just a thought at the moment. My friend has a '81 928. I like it. I also would like to be able to haul my wife and kids around. I am just worried about any potential problems to look out for. I know 911's, I'm in the dark about 928's.
