Flex plat question

So one day recently my 82 auto. developed a rattle in this area, only does it in gear at idle, if I give it a little gas it stops, my question is if a shop deals with this issue any ideas of cost ? should I setthe car off to the side until I have time? thanks

Location? Shop experience with 928?
Hard to say. Lots of stuff can rattle, including flexplate rivets --- rear flexplate, back by transmission.
I guess people drill them out and replace with bolts.

I noticed a rattle on an 84 5spd.
Turned out that the round rubber inspection cover on the bell housing hardened and shrunk.
It rattled at idle.

WA state, and I had let the car sit for about 5 months, while I tackled a different issue.

Are you sure its not exhaust touching somewhere?

remove the lower bell housing cover and take a picture, post it

Here is a video of my 89. I had a rattle sound. I have rebuilt the TT with new bearings as I think that is what was bad on mine I think. have not completed the repair yet.
