I permanently removed my auto antennae from my '83s rear end, you may have it.
PM me and good work! Matt |
That is awesome Fixer! Thank you very much! I will pm with address and can pay for shipping.
Fraggle, I wish you were still here. We have three in Boise actually and a rumor of a fourth. That brings me to my next question. I found an 83 in a junk yard today. It is at a place called Jalopy Jungle in Nampa Idaho if anyone wants to inquire. It is pretty much intact and is an automatic. I pulled the speedo from it and tried to replace it with mine today and noticed the pins are wrong. The 83 has longer connections. I'm thinking about going back out there and cutting off the wire cluster and trying to splice into mine so the connections fit. I can't imagine what difference the actual cluster makes. Has anyone ever tried to do this? I might have to start a new thread about it to get readers, but i'm asking here first. I am in desperate need of a 79 speedo cluster. I need to know how fast to tell the cop I was going...lol. I really appreciate the antenna Fixer. Let me know if you ever need anything. |
No problem, not using it.

Glad you are back Robert. :) I have a speedo gauge from a 79 Auto cluster that I stripped for my driver. It is a 85 MPH with a bent needle and the odometer gear has crumbled away. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1361445257.jpg
This is an older picture, the other items shown are long gone but the speedo is packed away somewhere if you need it. |
I also have a cluster, operating condition unknown....also an 85mph speedo, i think it is from a euro....
