I decided to open the oil reservoir / fill and this is what I found......

I checked the water and it was clear, with no oil sheen, or oily feel or texture to it....

I pulled the dipstick, and the oil has no milky look, or watery consistency, and was a nice golden honey color...

I get no white smoke or water vapor out the tailpipe......

Now my shop currently has no heat, and the engine is only getting minimal run time....vapors from the engine seem to come up through the oil fill, and then to air filter box. Could this be condensation, and not signs of a head gasket?

This worries me at this stage of the game....

I used to get that stuff and a lot under my very rich running air cooled high HP (90!) VW motors oil fill cap. It is condensation most likely if everything else is ok.
You're not running long enough to burn it off.

Bro looks and sounds okay clean it off extremely well, and consider doing an oil change just to be sure okay. It might just be a tad moisture build up fro running it inside the hear builds stuff liket that up.

ok, wow, you guys are making me feel better...I suspected condensation...It is running VERY rich right now, has a little miss, and has no longer than about 30 min. idle time each day for the past several days as I have tried to make her run.....I changed the oil a week or two ago, drained out the 20 yr old oil, which looked surprisingly good....I planned on changing again once I got her tune dialed in.

She has new injectors, new plugs, and a completely cleaned out WUR and Fuel Distributor....Starts on the first crank, idles cold about 1000 RPM, warm about 400 RPM, with a strong miss, and a very rich stench....but she runs....

You're making condensation, needs to get up to temp for a decent period of time. A good long drive is the cure. yes to above change it out.
