curious water pump yr diffs , not brands
what makes 82 early pcars wps different from ... 87 ....
engine size bigger so at water bridge the impeller fitment bigger? bolts around housing / gasket alignment different? thicker pump housing and roller bearings thicker etc that the covers wouldn't fit back on. can a 87 adapt to 82 where a 82 cant adapt to 87 cause itd have ex. bolts drilled into housing that accommodate it to hook up sensors or more ports that 82 wouldn't have. and can just not use/grind off/block off ... and the pump would work/modify to fit .

Timing belt stuff is different, so I just ask for the right one from somebody that I am sure knows what that is.
