Gorgeous black 928 on Peachtree Industrial
Shout out (literally) to the owner of the black 87 928 I met this morning on SB Peachtree Industrial (North Atlanta). Nice to see such a well maintained machine on the road.
And you are right, having your car and mine in a garage would be sweet! Trouble is figuring out whose garage... Have a great day CH |

That would be me, CH...and thank you! Right back at you with that classic, beautiful 89 fire-breather you were driving. Crazy how I found your post. I was calling in a parts order to Mark Anderson at 928 International in CA (every Shark owner's friend). Mark took my order, and I told him I had relocated from FL to ATL. A few years back, Mark came to FL to race a 928 at Sebring - I gave him a lift from the airport. In our call, he asked, "Isn't your car black? There's some guy who posted on Pelican about a Black 928 on Peachtree Industrial." Almost fell out of my chair. Small world, thanks Mark A! B/T/W, before you kicked in the turbo, I was trying to tell you I'm a member of Peachstate PCA and attend most functions. If you are, see you there. If not, come join us! MG

Greetings!
Yes, it was fun seeing two such classics together. Have to wonder what the other drivers think in their minivans as they watch two beasts go by. ![]() I used to be a member of PCA but I let that lapse. I found the majority were more interested in restaurants then they were driving the cars. That and an emphasis on the newer cars and less interest in the older models. Pelican-ites are more focused on the machines we drive IMHO. So what have you done to your car? I'm not familiar with the 928 enough to know what "standard" mods are, or if it is enough to keep her on the road. Either way, that car of yours is gorgeous, and maybe we can meet up for a coffee? What's nearby for you? Chris
