Have you done anything about this? I am suffering the exact same problem and am looking for a fix without taking it all apart. The seems are still fine, the leather is in good condition, it just looks like there is a big air bubble from the middle seem downwards where obviously the glue is gone.
I thought of injecting a slow working glue via the middle seem and "pushing" it down like you would push out air bubbles from under a vinyl sticker.

I own a 1990 S4 with full leather interior in a triple A condition apart from this bubble!

Leather shrinks as it ages and dries out. Lots of ways to slow it down, none I know of to reverse to any extent.

BTW the leather dashes are over vinyl, so you have two repairs, fix the vinyl and replace the leather.

I do have a jar of Nivea face cream on its way from Germany, many report it softens the leather, but once it lifts I doubt its going to be stretched back.

BTW its not the same stuff as is sold in the USA., ordered mine on US amazon.com

I have used some Nivea on the quarter liners and the leather has gotten soft and stretched back so this could take a few months to make it better
