Try 999 044 001 02 for the winged nut.

...or just go to lowes or home depot. It is either a 6mm or 8 mm nut. I got tired of using a wrench to disconnect the ground strap, and switched to a wing nut from the local box store. Be sure to use a washer as well, to make sure you have a good surface area connection at he ground point.

btw, you have a bigger issue if your bolt keeps corroding. Try to solve that problem - why is it corroding? Corrosion is caused by water. Do you have a leak in your hatch seal? That could lead to more serious performance issues - if the ground strap gets corroded inside the insulation, you won't know it but the car will run poorly or not at all.

I agree - corrosion there is not that common - it will be caused either by moisture from a hatch/seal leak or by corrosive fumes from the battery box.

What is your ground strap round or flat? has the battery box lid been modified so it doesn't seal around the flat stock ground strap?

Does you battery have a vent tube to outside the battery box?

The bolt material isn't that critical - just get the correct thread/length (ACE hardware carries metric). Most important is to clean the end of the strap (both sides), clean the ground point surface, use a washer on top of the strap. Use an electrical contact promoting final clean (e.g. deoxit/stabilant) before final assembly.

Once bolted together tight spray the whole thing with a light coverage of contact protectant spray.
something like this - many brands at local stores

Use it on the battery terminals too (after cleaning & connecting them) - This is not an electrical contact promoter - its a sealant.

BTW I'd still vent the battery outside the box to extend the life of your new ground strap

i did a wiper delete a year ago, and the 2 bolt holes still look sealed, I do suspect moisture though, hatch bolts look the same.

Picture might help.

I bought a GAMA battery disconnect switch, and the bolt that came with it I think fit the ground point.

*** NOTE *** the metal around the ground point isn't very thick or sturdy, so don't wang on it.

One other thing, you might want to replace the main braided ground strap going to the battery. Mine corroded inside the connection which goes under your wing nut. It looked fine but the inside was very bad and caused voltage drop.

If you do find yourself frequently removing the ground strap - you could consider adding a disconnect switch right there - tight but doable.

Example
