engine could be a 229hp 4.5L although the intake tubes appear to be the 300hp 4.7L
pictures are deceiving....

engine stamping number would have to be verified as the 300hp model, or the car would have little value

add to the list of undesirable-- it's an automatic trans

It doesn't take much for a 928 to be a train wreck........

I would be interested if it were closer. Probably not a lot to get running again especially if you could get it for say $800 ? Just too far for me to look at.
.....................its always a fuel pump. Always. Why trash a car over a fuel pump???

Exactly what I was thinking $800 my wife and I were talking just that last night after dinner . Yes always the Fuel pump .
Just how far are you from that area anyway . Looks like the Euro Motor to me but am not expert on the Euro Motor . Yes if Closer you could not lose Even at $1,000 I Expect what the seller is hoping for with a price at $1,300 , You could always Part it out and be left with a lot of good parts and your Money Back . Most Likely you can make it run and have a really Fun Car for Very Little Money . I use Mine all the Time with Very Little Cost upkeep However it is a 1980 US with the Electronic Injection . Get's Surprisingly Good Millage also
at least in the Hot Areas of Las Vegas where it is currently Garaged. I Paid only $300 for it but it had not run in 15 Years lol > Yup the Fuel Pump was Dead and some Relays , with a Motor Free up it was up and purring again . Guy wanted $500 and as I was looking at it a few Min's my wife said how about $300 and the Guy Immediately said that was fine . On to the Trailer .

I can't remember which is which, but the WUR at the front of the engine is either straight like this one, or a 45 degree angle, S vs non S. Usually a good tip as the WUR and hard lines are not likely to get swapped, but always check all the numbers on the intake and heads and block.

Look at the wiring at the jump post, fuzzy picture, still looks like trouble.

OTOH not bad at say $800 as a parts car.

Fuel pumps stop a 928 from running, but are a red flag that NOTHING was ever fixed on the car. Driven til it won't start.
