What happened to the engine?

I don't recall where I saw it, but I am sure I saw a late model being parted I think for $3500 but they want you to take the whole car.

Wait a couple weeks and contact 928 Int'l for their 50% off Christmas sale.

Well I think you can have a LS swap done cheaper then a replacement!

Well, from the people who have done the LS swap they say $12,000-$35,000 depending on how much work you do your self vs how much you pay someone else. When you are done you will most likely have a mongrel dog that when time to sell comes you will get back about 10 cents on the dollar. In the last 5 years I have seen at least 5-10 Chevy swaps done in 928's. The only one I am aware of done well around here is 77Tony's. And he has a whole lotta' $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in that car. Just Peachy OB project - Rennlist Discussion Forums Most of the other LS swaps are sloppy at best and some are downright junk. I was offered one a while back for $1500 and I passed....it was that bad....an earlier car than '90, but still......

I am sure there others well done also, but replacing the engine with the proper engine is far cheaper than going the LS route
