928 International has a 50% off the price of used stuff. Try them.

Front spoilers take a beating, so maybe start with a used until you get ride height stock and learn to estimate curbs and parking lot stop blocks, then get a new one.

Have you got a link or a part number, strongly suggest they would not have straps for a Euro 16v air filter box.

part number might be 92811036306, but I'm not sure. Some parts are same as US 85/86 some different.

I just woke the car up from a 10 year sleep & the spoiler was damaged a long time ago . BTW I driven & restored a bunch of lowered 911's so I know a little about ground clearance's & 45'ing driveways & such . Thanks for your concern

I have a link like this one for each of my cars;

Wholesaler closeouts for your 1985 PORSCHE 928:
******** Auto Parts

Use some caution as ******** carries many generic parts that may fit or work.

Don't expect to get the correct part for a Euro from anybody other than our normal knowledgeable vendors.

Air Box Straps -

Hey Guys - I'm going down through my winter "To Do - Fix It" list prepping the Lady in Red and Miss Purdy for this coming spring. One item that is finally working it's way toward the the top of the list are air box straps. I currently have a couple of short pieces of 5/8" radiator hose stuck sideways under my air box straps on both 928's to take up the slack. So is the long term quality of the Air Box Straps from Rock Auto worth using ?????

The reason I keep moving the replacement of a series of minor items around on my "To Do" list is because it's a little difficult to spend the same amount for a couple of sets of air box straps (Regularly Priced @ $30 x 4) that you can buy a complete set of tie rod assemblies. Some parts are basically for show (5/8" heater hose spacers) and a set of tie rods are for go. I know, I know - cheap SOB - but just trying pick my battles when it comes to keeping my cars on the road.

Of course, if a part doesn't hold up - you haven't saved any money and doubled the labor.....

Drive Safe, Michael

I've had my straps on for about a year and they are still holding tight ... but even if I had to replace them evey couple of years, it will still be cheaper than buying from porsche.

Porsche Crest Air box straps

Hey guys, I just received my air box straps from Rock Auto . The fit nicely except at the fixed end opening is a little larger than OEM , So you have to be a little more careful when installing the lid so as not to knock the straps off & down on the transmission. I used a shop towel to wedge behind the strap in place till I mounted the lid . Sharks Rule the Road

Search for a 84 928 I see three different ones offered at Vertex, none correct for a Euro.

91111036501 from Porsche
92811036301 from two different aftermarket brands, OEM and URO.

92811036306 looks like the Euro part number, but if you want a factory fit, buy from a vendor that knows what fits.
