Source for Bosch connector parts

Found this seller on ebay, bought a pack of timer junior clips, looks good at a better than normal price.

Engine Management Connectors, AMP Junior Power Timer items in Brands Hatch Performance store on eBay!

Example I am looking at, but thinking of putting together an order for everything I can imagine I want at once to save shipping, is a set of 8 EV1 injector connectors with boots and seals for $22 plus $14 shipping.

Running it past the forums in case I am missing something, or one of our USA vendors can deal directly with them etc.

That sure seems like a smoking deal right there!

Some details to sort through to EV1 compatibility with earlier injectors, and shipping is steep, so I want to try and get everything I might need in one batch.

If you are repairing an old harness, pigtails are a better option to cut and splice in, but I have the itch to replace the whole mess with new wires and headshells so I need new crimps and boots etc.

I would like to do this same thing.
Have you got a list of all the connectors?

Not yet, but I think I have a few old harnesses around, so my plan is to dig one out and do a bunch of pictures including a couple close ups of each.

Next stage is to lay the harness out on a piece of plywood and put in nails or screws to mark all the connectors and branches.

Last stage order a bunch of wire and parts plus proper crimpers for all the connectors.

BTW rather than do more than one I may use 85/86 as the base with some variations, maybe switched ignition power to the front, knock sensors.

OTOH not to hard to put variations on the nail board and build more than one type.

for a more local option DIYAutotune have a Delphi version of the EVI connector that seals on the wire itself and doesn't require a boot
I've found them to be much better than the bosch for long term survival.

Hard to tell details from the images they have, its not a Bosch, but a compatible from maybe Metripack, they are marked PED 39 fwiw. I would want to see them first hand before making up my mind.

It "looks" like they use similar seals to other connectors and just leave off the boot.

Lots of issues, but I don't see water tight as a big one since water would mess up a dozen other things as well. Tolerance of heat is more the top of my list.

Still more info in good.
