Oil pan gasket
Paying more doesn't always get you more. Just completing my shopping list and one of the items I need is an oil pan gasket. They range in price from $12 for one manufactured by Victor Reinz, $47 for genuine Porsche and $59 for one from 928 Motorsports.
Anyone have any recommendations? |

I read some where here, the best one is a silicone one. You might try a "search" here and find out.

I've installed 5 silicone pan gaskets on 5 928's. None have leaked a single drop. They are now ranging from 5 to 7 years of in-service time.

The only thing about the silicon gaskets is: you can't ever let anybody under your car. Had a buddy helping me and got called away for a few. My buddy thought the stud nuts were loose and "doing me a favor" tightened them up, squeezing the silicon gasket to death.
It now leaks after 10 years. Dammit. ![]()
