where does this go
 

ok no suggestions about where it should go - I know I took this coin holder out of one of these cars long ago - now that i'm putting one back together I can't remember where it came from and all the obvious places (console, glove box, rear console) have no place for it - I know it's from a 928 because it has part # 928.555.337.02 on it - anybody know? - thanks

It goes in the door. There is a spot under the armrest.

it goes in the driver door panel just next to the door lamp housing

thanks for the answers - I did try googling it and I didn't get that picture - even just now - might just leave it out as door panels are done and look good as is

Lots of people are looking for a good one if you decide to sell it.

I probably will sell it - evidently these were not installed in every year of these cars - i'm putting together one car using parts from a 79 and the 84 - the coin holder came from the 84 - I must have used the door panels from the 79 because when I checked yesterday just to see if I wanted to install it I found there are no cutouts in these panels so seems like too much trouble to do it now - this one appears to be in nice shape

My '79 has the coin holder, no coins though...
