Porsche Crest 1981 928 Vacuum Help!

I recently bought a 1981 928 with a lot of vacuum lines missing in the engine compartment. is there anywhere I can find out where the vacuum lines go? The main issue is the throttle body, I have no idea where they all go.

I have a 81 US L-Jet. If you have a Euro CIS, the hoses will be different.

This post by airtekhvac will be a good start:

silicon hoses, is it worth it?

You should have a sticker on the hood that shows a schematic diagram of the hoses for your car. It is *quite* hard to read.

Use the diagram to follow what airtekhvac did and match it up to your car. Good luck!

It's not too hard once you get your head wrapped around it. You must remove the spider body, then you can get a good view of what you got. Also, auto and 5 sp are different. Get yourself a copy of PET, and the workshop manuals. Also, give us some info on you and your car, may be a member nearby that would be willing to help. 81 should be very similar to 82... I can send you a pic of my diagrams, if you need it. Also, be prepared to go down the rabbit hole....replace ALL rubber fuel lines before you even think about trying to start it. These cars like to go up in flames.

Good luck

Thank you for the responses! Using the picture linked to me, i connected nearly all of the vacuum lines. I have one hose that needs a home and i cannot figure out where. I believe it splits into two ends but i cannot confirm. If there anyone knows how to read the diagram on the hood and inform me i would greatly appreciate. It is an 81 auto, and i have gone and replace all pressurized fuel lines among other things. I will try to attach a picture with the hose i need connected.

I apologize for the poor quality, was in a rush, but the line that is heading toward the throttle body from the thermostatic valve on the cross bar (bar the goes across the engine i'm not sure of the name) breaks of into a vacuum "T". Or so I think. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance
