Ok, the holidays are here, and we all have distractions. The days are short, dark, and cold. Did you think about your Porsche this weekend, sitting out there in that cold, dark garage?

Now is the time men (and ladies), to spin those spanners, shop in the parts catalogs, give our cars the ammunition they need to dog-fight those Beemers, Jags, and Nissans in the Spring! So how 'bout it? Did you hug your Porsche this weekend?

I guess I'll go first. There's not too much to report over here at Shambling Acres, as I have been working on the interior instead of getting the car ready for smog. Damn this malaise! -I just can't get the ambition up to crawl under the car.

However, there is light at the end of the of the tunnel. I only have the new seat upholstery to install, and I think I can call it 'done' for the year.

I stitched a Wheelskins cover onto the wheel (not the best product, but it'll do for now) and painted the horn pad with some vinyl paint. I also got some new floormats.






I've been doing some catalog shopping (okay, Fleabay searching) for something to fill the hole in the center console. I think I've settled on getting one of these Jensen VX7012 1 din touch screen head units. It's more money than I want to spend... But, I'm a nut for my Sirius radio, and its got GPS and screen mirroring.
