Early 928 Lower Ball Joints
I need to replace the aluminum lower ball joints on my 1980, but there appears to be a nationwide shortage of new ones. Anyone know if Lemfoerder or Porsche is going to make any more replacements?

Lower Ball Joints
I used the Moog lower ball joints when I converted my 1980, and they worked very well. I picked them up a a local parts store. Sorry, it has been awhile so I don't remember the part number. You will also need the adjustment cams.

Old Dude, are you wanting to replace the aluminum ones with aluminum? I believe for all years, the replacement is with the revised steel ball joint (928 341 049 09) and 1 new eccentric (928-341-466-01) per side (you can re use one of the old ones)

Pelican still has the Porsche brand ones available apparently. OR I also read that Carl at 928 Motorsports will be carrying remanufactured units shortly, as well as replacement boots.

The replacement part number is 928 341 049 12. These will fit all years. You will need 2 additioanl ellipticals.
No affiliation but ********* has 4 in stock for $31.63 each.

I know the number and have the eccentrics, just trying to find them in stock somewhere. Who has 4 in stock? Pelican can't complain cause they have none at all. That number does not fit all 928's according to several suppliers.
