Lobster claws on S4 advice

Hello guys, I have a set of 19" Lobster claws that I'd like to put on my 87 S4. They are 8 and 11x 19. Offset is 57 front and 67 rear. I know I'll need an adapter to fit the rears . My question for you guys is, what size spacers would you recommend for the rear? I spoke to one guy and he said 1"? Also, I want to put a good size tire on that 11 too but I don't want to roll the quarter lips if I can avoid it. I will if I have to. What tire sizes and spacer size should I start with?? I'm schooled on aspect ratios etc and I have read everything I can find about this, but just figured I'd ask for a lifeline here, and try to avoid wasting too much $$ figuring this out. Thank you in advance for any help, opinions, advice!

I would sell these off and get a set of 18 inch rims with 8 inch front and 10 inch rear .

NOTE you will have to dry fit the 19 in rim on the hub and support the lower hub and use a straight edge to figure out the correct spacer.

that said the 19 in wheels are too big and ride comfort is greatly reduced

19 inch wheels are harder to find a good tire selection than 18 inch wheels. I have lobster claw 19" wheels on my GTS and they look good and seem to ride good, but I don't think I would try to fit them on an S4. There is just doesn't seem to be enough room for my liking on an S4.

I have 275s on 19s on my car. My lips are rolled flat. You can't get your finger in between them. It's very tight. If you need spacers I found a place that custom makes them real cheap. You chose the exact mm thickness and you can also make the hub centric to an after market wheel.

Thank you guys, I'm forced to make these 19's work! Going through a divorce and I have no $ to switch it up now. I thank you Mrmerlin, and stepson, your car looks awesome! Pete, what are your offsets? Ride quality is not my concern because I only drive the car a dozen miles a day. I just want to make them work ! I appreciate the heads up on the custom spacer retailer, I'll use them. My rears are 67mm and a 275 is going to stretch a lot on an 11. I think that Mrmerlin is right, I'm gonna do it like I used to for my track cars. I'm just hoping that someone that has these offsets and did the legwork for tire sizes and spacers and weighs in.Pete, do you have an S4? and what size spacers did you use on the rear? A guy on Rennlist is using these wheels on an S4 with 305's ! I'm stuck with no "re-do", gotta make it happen.Thank you very much for your help gentlemen, I looked forward to hearing from you guys all day about this. Cheers!

Mines not an S4 but I have S4 suspension. I think my wheels are 10.5. Not sure of the ET. If I have a chance tomorrow I'll pull the wheel and see if it's inside. I have maybe an 8mm spacer. I don't need it. I have plenty of room on the inside. I just made it wider for aesthetics. Who's your tire installer, he's gonna hate you for trying to stretch a 30 series tire

wow Pete, that's a nice fit! I'm going to try a rear on and use a straight edge. If it's too tight I'm going to have to get another set of wheels. Just my luck! Did you use a slip on spacer with longer studs? I've done longer wheel studs on a 911 , never a 928, I have no idea what that entails. Nothing is easy when you buy the wrong part from the begining!

I finally looked at the wheels. They are 10 inches wide. It says IS47 not Et47 so I'm not really sure what the offset is. I don't know is IS = ET. The car originally had a thick stock spacer on the hub. I actually had to cut them down so the closed top nut wouldn't bottom out before it hit the wheel.

Thank you very much Pete! I'm gonna go for it . I'm gonna try to squeeze 305's out back! Not sure when, but when I do I'll post pics! Thanks again!
