Meet & Greet
Beginning in the afternoon as soon as you arrive, drop your luggage off and join the gang on the patio at Chili's until about 3pm.* Get ready for dinner or venture to the parking lot to greet the new arrivals until dinner.

Hill Country Tours
9am - Mandatory Driver's Meeting. Go over both Group Assignments (eastern=leisure and southern=spirit). Review Driver's Rules of Etiquette, Sync your Radios, and break into groups.** There are two choices for driving with Group ->a Relaxed group and* More Spirited Group. Please make your choices and mark them on your registration.

6:30p - Dinner at Francesca's Italian Restaurant.

928 Show & Shine at Johnson Park Amphitheater

10am - 928 Car Show & Shine at Johnson Park at 230 Ave. J in Marble Falls, located within walking distance of the Hampton Inn hotel. Sit and enjoy the World's largest gathering of GTS's and a "Roger Burger" while prizes and door prizes are handed out.* Water hose is available at the hotel parking lot so you can get your car ready for the show and shine.

Man - Hadn't heard about the get together in Marble Falls. My wife and I just spent 10 days in the Hill Country the last week of Oct 27 - Nov 6. Would have liked to adj my visit for the meet and greet. Always enjoy seeing a gathering of delightful 928's. Although Miss Purdy has come a long way toward being a reasonably nice reliable daily driver, she still has a ways to go before being a standout at one of these events. Me and a buddy attended a Porsche shindig in Denver a few years ago driving one of my earliest butt-ugly 928 Philistines and was asked several times if it was for sale as a parts car.

Hey Stepson, I'd love to make the 928 gathering in Marble Falls but just can't this time. Our cat "Pretty Boy Floyd" has offered to take the 911 but his license is still suspended. He's cooling his heels in front of the deck fireplace right now.

Thanks again for the invite - I'll spread the word among some local 928 owners on this years gathering in Marble Falls. I'm adding next year's date to the pop-up event reminder on my calendar so not to miss another one. Miss Purdy (1984) and Lady in Red (1985 Sold) are now probably a 7 out of 10. I always like to take the wife along so she can see what a really nice 928 is supposed to look like. This way I don't have to keep explaining the term "It Looks Like a Diamond in a Billy Goat's Ass".
