busted #2 con rod!!

Anybody know anything about this??

I have a chance to buy a car with this problem. It would be a project purchase. It's a 1990 GT in really nice shape full leather, blah, blah! except the engine.

Trouble is it's like a two day drive from where I live in another country and I want to be sure I can rebuild her ??

Any clues,,,,

Also,,, If you are reading this and I already have the car ?? do you know anyone with an engine,,, that year,,, any condition (well, better than the one I have would be a bonus), and in or nr the UK would be good. Would consider the USA but it would have to be good to go to all that effort.

Any help or advice at all would be welcome.

One final Thing,,,, anyone want to send me a copy of their manuals on CD,,,, I know it's a cheek but I'd trade for something,,, even some cash !!
