Some Help Removing Drivers Window Motor

Hi,

I have a 91 928 with a dead drivers side power window. The door panel has been removed and I have power going to the motor so I know all is good there.

What I'm trying to figure out is, can I remove the entire motor off the regulator while its still in the door? I did search but didn't come up with what I'm looking for. I did see you can take part of the motor out but I want the entire unit out so I can bench test it. Thanks
