Lower control arm bolt size

I have a 928s4 front suspension that I fabricated onto the front of my 67 VW double cab.
My question is the threads for the L.C.A. on the chassis are 12mm but the suspension parts are larger holes, a 14mm bolt fits easily- are the stock bolts (which I do not have) stepped, or is there built in play in the design?
Thanks,
Stephen

Without any info I just tapped my standoff/spacers for 14mm 1.50 pitch bolts, seemed like the best way to get rid of some of the play in the control arm parts, still hoping some one will chime in as to the stock bolt dimensions....

Here are some pictures to help explain my madness.

I can still run 12mm bolts thru the tapped holes if that is the proper connecter.

I could be wrong, but I think you have the 928 part upside down.
