Driveline rattle
I have a rattling noise coming from transaxle area but only when the trans is in neutral. When I had the trans out for output shaft seal replacement there was no indication of pinion shaft seal leakage.

Very normal on these transaxles.
From what I have read, it's the 5th gear making the noise. Nothing to worry about, but it's a bit annoying I guess.

I just checked under the car to verify there's no leaks from the transaxle because I replaced a defective oil cooler and output shaft seals and it's dry so I can at least drive it but you're right, it is annoying.
