I drove the 951 last night. Wow what a difference the sway bar makes. The car felt so much smoother, quieter and easier to driver.

Iíll measure the sway bars. Iím de-cluttering now so Iíll probably toss the little one.
If Tokyo goes to lockdown Iíll be able to recover the dash, A-pillars and door cards.
Wish I had the coin to recover the seats too.
Probably touch up the paint too.

Ok. Iím running into an aesthetic issue.
Iíve been trying to change the color of the door card from beige to black. Each time I dye it, it come out shiny even with flat black spray dye.
I cleaned and prepped the surface until itís loose. What am I doing wrong?
I re-wrapped the dash upper and lower which look a lot better. Now I want the door cards the match. I have extra material to replace the door card vinyl but I donít know how to make that seem around the edge.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

that looks a little rough, maybe you should try flocking it, or doing a carbon wrap (real not vinyl)

Not sure if you are a pro finisher, if so ignore. But I have found Menzerna fast 400 with a wool pad to be more than awesome. You don't even need to do a micro polish finish after the initial cut with Menzerna but you can if you so desire.

Sadly I havenít touched the car in a while. Other things came up like split cv boot, worn out tires, grinding noise from suspension/steering etc on my other cars.
Iím working on the interior next so if anyone has a black rear seat back and set of black seat vinyl or leather upholstery please let me know.

Washed and waxed it today. Iím 80% satisfied with my paint work but only 20% with the interior. Wish I could find a donor car with good black interior and bad motor.
