Vibration on hard accel

looking for some input on my 1987 944 Turbo. On hard acceleration, I can feel a vibration in the shifter and a little in the seat. So it feels like drivetrain to me.

Little history on the car. I just did a clutch 1.5 years ago. Replaced the transmission mounts at the same time. Also redid the engine mounts about 5 years ago. This is my wifes track car so it sees a decent amount of abuse.

Driveshaft bearings? I dont hear any grinding or bearing growl.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thom

Maybe a CV joint starting to go out, or bolts loosening up?

Did you replace motor mounts with "after market" brands or OEM or Meyle? They may be gone already, especially under track use.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

the torque tube (or driveshaft) on the 951 are incredibly strong, i've never heard of one failing. i second collapsed motor mounts.
