that 85 looks like the manufacture year followed by the serial number. the third line represents the internal cartridge since the k26 housing is available with multiple interchangeable internal configurations.

Got turbo out...what a royal PITA.....
The bottom of the turbo bolt is not an allen screw but a torx screw, so I stripped it with an allen head.
Had to take the sway bar off and the steering rack to get the stupid bolt out.
first pic broken stud.

Second pic shows the other stud , looks like the section that is in the flange is worn off ???

Yeah it really is a PITA!! Not sure which one is the Torx as I don't remember any Torx fasteners when I did mine. BTW I sent my Turbo off to Evergreen and he is really good at everything you want a vendor to be good at. I did a stock rebuild but now wish I would have tried some of the mods that can be done using the stock housings. Of course there are many other options for turbos but I wanted it to remain looking stock.

Thanks Mike.
Well got two of the studs out of the turbine to exhaust housing. The other two sheared at the surface.
2 days of PB blaster and heating to red hot and back got 50% results...
Need to buy another set of drill bits.
