951 wheels for 928 brakes

I have a 951 race car fitted with big black brakes off a 928. Will I be able to use 968 Cup wheels for a wet setup? Specifically wondering if they fit over the big blacks. Could also use late phone dials if they would fit?

Cups fit over big blacks, both 55 and 65 offsets, the latter is closer though. Search big blacks/reds and cup wheels you should get several 964 and 993 posts confirming this.

I have 16x8 dials over turbo s brakes and its very tight - very much doubt anything bigger will clear. I now just have to find another pair for the rears.

just curious why would you want to use phone dials instead of cups when the cups are lighter?

Just testing out the turbo cup car look. You are right though, phone dials are chunky.
